Women Talking Sex: A Midwinter Salon
Four afternoon gatherings for honest conversation about sex, intimacy, and navigating changes in your body and relationships
There's something that happens when women gather with nibbles, drinks, and curious questions. The room gets warmer and the shame starts to slip away. Someone says what we’ve all been thinking and we laugh together in recognition. And suddenly we're talking about our sex lives with honesty, fun and encouragement.
This is Women Talking Sex: four intimate, midwinter afternoon salons where we'll explore what so many of us wonder about but so rarely get to share out loud.
What we'll explore together:
Understanding desire changes (why it shifts, what actually helps, and what's normal)
Getting to know your body better (what works for you at different life stages)
Communication skills for intimacy (how to talk about the awkward stuff with your partner)
What you actually want from sex and intimacy (and how you might figure that out)
We'll gather in a cosy lounge room in Guyra - think fireplace, comfortable chairs, the kind of winter afternoon where time slows down. I'll bring frameworks and insights from somatic sexology. You'll bring your questions and your stories. Together, we'll create the kind of conversation that stays with us.

About your circle host:
Hi, I'm Kylie. I came to working with sexuality and embodiment through my own journey with pain, disconnection, and trying to understand how past experiences were showing up in my intimate life and relationships.
What helped wasn't just what I was reading, but also being in the company of other women - in gatherings just like this one - who were willing to be honest, real and curious.
I'm a registered psychotherapist with training in trauma work, somatic practices, and sex-positive research. I'm passionate about bringing accessible, shame-free education about sexuality and intimacy to rural and regional women - because this stuff matters, and we deserve to talk about it without having to travel to big cities!
I've been hosting women's circles for many years and my love for them just keeps growing! I bring warmth, some hard won wisdom, a bit of humour, and a deep belief that women learning together is one of the most powerful things we can do.
